Common problems and solutions of Bus Digital Underwater Communication

 

1The underwater driver shows no connection when checking it in the equipment room?


 

1) Firstly, confirm that the NETCAN configuration of the equipment room is 125K, and the corresponding IP port matches the software. This operation can be retrieved through the configuration software provided by the company. If it fails to be detected, probably there is a problem with the IP setting of the computer or the network cable is out-of-order needing troubleshooting.


2) Check whether the underwater driver is correctly connected with 120 ohm resistance with a multimeter in the equipment room. If not, the 120 ohm resistance is needed.


3) If the equipment provides the proper voltage, the worker can stand near the equipment and listen to whether the equipment has self-locking sound.


4) The distance of CAN communication signal line is no more than 250 meters. if it is more than 250 meters, relay amplification signal is needed.


5) CAN signal lines must be connected in parallel from the first device to the last device in sequence, and it’s now allowed to connect multiple signal lines in parallel in the equipment room in the end.

 

2、 What am I supposed to do if an error message is displayed during CAN retrieval?


 The error message in the software part shows two kinds of protection reminders:

1) Temperature protection reminder is mainly because it is exposed to sun outdoor in summer and the temperature gets more than 60 degrees, the driver will directly stop working for protection purpose.

2) The wire between the motor and the driver is wrongly connected, so the motor protection does not work.

 

3、It fails to detect the sensor or the sensor always shows being detected?


1) The sensor cannot work normally due to its own faults and it needs to be replaced.


2) The distance between the sensor and the sensing device is too close, so it shows that the sensor has been sensing all the time. The distance between the sensor and the sensing device needs to be manually adjusted.
